days in Hanoi, the Spanish Embassy in Vietnam in cooperation with the
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam held a seminar
"Spain-Vietnam: Opportunities for Growth" to introduce potential energy and promote cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
Opening remarks, Ambassador of Spain in Vietnam Alfonso Tena briefly
outlined the purpose and meaningful discussion, emphasizing that it is
an opportunity for businesses from both countries seeking opportunities
for cooperation and investment.
According
to Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam
Hoang Van Dung, a stable political system, a large market with nearly 90
million residents, young labor force, rich mineral resources are the
strength to Vietnam attracted foreign investors, including the Spanish business.

At
the seminar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Spain
José García-Margallo stated Manual Spain, the fourth largest economy of
the euro area is recovering thanks to a series of financial reforms, can
institutions and the real estate market.
Spain is ready to share experience with other countries in dealing with economic problems. Impressive growth rate of Vietnam and the economic recovery of Spain
is an opportunity for the two sides to promote cooperation countries in
various fields.
Also at the seminar, representing Spain now answer the question of delegates in the field of trade and investment.
Trade
exchange between Vietnam and Spain reached more than 2 billion euros in
2013. Spain currently ranks 59th among countries and territories
investing in Vietnam with a total registered capital of 30.3 million
USD.
